This complaint was assessed in accordance with the published procedure for handling Code of Conduct complaints. Whilst the message had clear abusive content there was no evidence of homophobia. Also noted the message was removed within hours and an apology immediately independently volunteered. Matter disposed by way of Informal Resolution and recommendation for additional training regarding social media use.
